Critical Summary
As per the views of Meier, 2018, gender mainstreaming is differences among people of two genders which is derived on the basis of individual values, beliefs, ideas, etc. However, the goals of government for promoting gender equality by considering gender mainstreaming as strategy (GENDER MAINSTREAMING AN OVERVIEW, 2002). The authors discussed bout various examples of gender disparity which needs to be overcome with the help of mainstreaming like, domestic violence faced by women, voice for opinion and economic opportunities. The study articulated reason of mainstreaming gender like illiteracy among women (UNESCO’S Gender Mainstreaming Implementation Framework (GMIF) for 2002-2007, 2003). As per the UNESCO program me cycle, it is determined that gender main steaming can be attained by making systematic effort for considering aspiration of men and women equally.
In accordance with evaluation key features of gender mainstreaming are equal education, access to knowledge, encouraging creativity of women, promoting active participation of females of society and promoting human rights in order to protect individual interest against disparity. Principles of mainstreaming gender can be fostering partnership among men and women, contributing to international decade for managing cultural peace and promoting parity among both genders to overlap differences (Tyagi and Das, 2017). However, managing diversity in organization is another way to managing gender equality at workplace which supports economic growth and development. Thus, it can be said that gender main steaming and managing diversity approaches has no significant differences because both the concepts focuses on promoting gender parity.

CONCLUSION
The assessment summarized gender mainstreaming strategy to promote gender equality in society for enabling equal access to knowledge, education, and employment among men and women.
