This project report discusses about the impact of digital technology in a small business operations of the business. When the companies use digital technologies in operating the activities of the company it introduces new ways to conduct them. The use of digitalisation will also assists the companies in finding opportunities in the management of operation by finding better solution to the problems related to the expansion of the activities of business. Using the technologies related to digitalisation assist the companies in reducing the costs related to operation by utilising various tools and techniques and in turn also increases the overall profitability( Evans, 2012). This assist the company in capturing a large share of market by attracting customers towards the business activities of business. The current project report is done on Henmans LLP which is small company that is operating in UK and provides legal services in the London.

This project report will discuss about the aims and objectives in the use of digitalisation, preparation of plan related to project management, stages that are involved in completing the project, using the quantitative and qualitative methods in conducting the research. This report also tells about the tools and techniques that are utilised in interpreting the data and providing reasonable recommendation to solve the issues.

The use of digitalisation can help the company in posting advertisements on the social media websites regarding the services they provide which will assist in attracting more customers and also the employees which have relevant skills and knowledge in the related sector so that company can hire them and achieve more growth(Gustafson, 2012). This assist the companies in saving time and cost. All of such aspects are required to be done for making a project successful and enhance the operations of company. Henmans LLP provides legal services in UK and is a small company. The project management plan if formulated by the internal managers of the company consists of the following significant aspects which are discussed as under:

  • Scope of project: The project that is undertaken is based on digital technology , which has a wide scope in the modern world because of so much involvement of the social media and engagement of internet in daily life of people. Use of digitalisation includes the utilisation of various tools and thus declines the operational cost and in turn increases the profitability of company.

The researcher has faced many issues in undertaking the research for various aspects. They have formulated proper plan for the removing such issues related to them. The researcher have conducted research on 30 respondents and gathered the primary data from their, the researcher has also used secondary data in the research process so that the accuracy of information are declined.
