Brief and Guidence
To survive in competitive business it requires understanding of micro as well as macro factors. With UK on the verge of leaving European Union and uncertainty in turbulent dynamic business environment,business needs to develop effective strategies based on their needs and of valuable stakeholders.
You are employed as a Business Analyst by large, medium sized or small multinational UK based organisation( choose one of your choice) to evaluate different types and sizes of business they have to compete with. Your report will include evaluation of current environmental factors that impact any organisation.
You are required to explain different type of organisations ,size, legal structure as well scope and key stakeholders of organisation to highlight differences between them. For one of the organisations explain various functions within business and create a organisational chart to explain interrelationships between different functions.
It should be presented as report to CEO and include the following:
1. Introduction, with explanation on different types of organisation and growth of international business environment.
2. Explanation of each chosen organisation including: background details, size and scope, their vision, mission and objectives , organisational and legal structure, and information of stakeholders.
3. Explain the functions for one of chosen organisations,using organisation chart to show how they interrelates to organisational objectives and structure.
Using above scenario and acting as business analyst continue the word report, while carrying out further research work for your chosen organisation by using various recent and relevant supportive materials such as blogs,stakeholders reports and other relevant resources. You need to gather detailed information as business analyst to analyse current environmental factors that may impact your chosen organisation.
4. Use PESTEL analysis to identify various macro environmental factors and their positive and negative with examples and their impacts on business operations of chosen organisation.
5. Produce internal and external analysis for chosen organisation to identify strength and weaknesses and their influence in decision making process.
6. Do a SWOT or TONS analysis and their interrelationships with external macro factors of your organisation.
